Gearing Up for Next Year
We’re already busy planning for next year and we need your help. The committees are forming and we need you to jump in. Whether you offer your time, expertise, suggestions or comments we need you on a committee to help direct the club in the coming year. It requires no long-term committments. You can just attend one meeting or attend them all as time permits.
Please look at the list below to see how you might best serve. Contact the committee chair directly to get involved.
The outings committee meets to discuss and plan outings throughout the year. You can offer to lead one or make suggestions of great opportunites for the club to get out and shoot. Doesn’t matter if it’s been done before because we are always getting new members and the light is always different.

The workshop committee plans hands-on workshops in processing and shooting. If you are skilled in any area, we can plan something you can teach. If you want to learn, join the committee and tell us what you need.

Membership needs volunteers to staff the desk at the meetings and help with enrollments and renewals. Again, you can volunteer for one meeting or more. It’s a great way to get to know the members.

We are getting more serious this year about giving back to the community. The outreach committee looks for ways we can use photography to serve those around us. These are real needs in our community. Not everyone in SoCal can afford professional photography. We hope to go into many areas this year as we expand our impact.

Gary will be needing help updating mailing lists, maintaining the website and keeping club members informed about everything that’s happening. He can’t do it alone, so those of you who are tech-savvy get onboard and help with this effort.
