Carrizo Plain Superbloom

Wednesday, April 12, we will head North to the Carrizo Plain to photograph superblooms which are at their peak right now.  The reason we are doing this on Wednesday is to avoid the mass of humanity and traffic during the weekends.

When and where to Meet:  If you are interested, we are scheduling this for Wednesday, April 12.  Meet at the Laguna Hills Park and Ride(Avenida De La Carlota)  (DO NOT MEET AT Paseo De Valencia one)

Time: 4AM  (It will take about 4 hours to drive to the Carrizo Plain)

What to Bring:  Food for Breakfast and Lunch and snacks.  Bring plenty of water as well.  Bring a tripod and/or monopod and you will want to wear thick hiking boots.  There have been rattlesnake sightings and best to wear protective gear if you plan to go deep into the flower fields.

At the end of the day we will eat a quick dinner at Maricopa before heading home in the evening.

Plan for a long day but good day given the images being presented recently.
